Thornapple Press epubs are now certified by eBOUND. eBOUND Digital Certification is a Canadian grown “whole file health certification” that requires the auditing of accessibility features to the highest standards and reviewing the availability of content on retail sites.
All appro
ved publishers have demonstrated success producing files in accordance with eBOUND Digital Certification’s standard, meeting the EPUB Accessibility 1.1 specification and WCAG 2.2 AA. In addition to meeting accessibility standards, publishers have enhanced metadata for discoverability and their accessible titles live on vendor sites.
All frontlist and forthcoming titles meet the specifications and we are in the process of auditing our backlist to ensure that all of our epubs meet the same accessibility standards.
